This causes dry, coarse, brittle, easily damaged hair- the exact opposite of  hair that is shiny and full of lust.

What we eat can both benefit and harm our body in many ways. We all know the endless list of things that we should keep out of our bodies, so i wont go over those. I want to help you improve yourself by giving you my finds on revealing a healthier and more beautiful you.

Studies conducted over the years have shown proof that fish and wine benefit the heart. Recent studies show that they also benefit the skin. The best amount of intake is about a half a glass of white or red wine per day and with oily fish (salmon or tuna) about six ounces per week.

Fall in Love With Lip Color

Knock ‘em dead lip color is back on the shelves for Autumn/Winter ‘09/10. This season reds and plums are all over the place. From Dolce & Gabbana to Christian Lacroix, intense red lip color strutted down the runways evoking a mood of unstoppable glamour! What’s important to keep in mind when shopping for the perfect shade of red lipstick?  Red lipsticks usually have an orange or blue undertone. Typiclly fair skin tones look best with a blue undertone and more olive complexions might do more of an orange undertone. The best way though is of course to try them on and see what best suits your look and coloring.

Eye Liner Perfection

YOU WILL NEED:

Flat eyeliner brush – The tip is small, square and flat and just slightly soft.

Dark brown powder eyeshadow– Once you get the hang of it switch to black.

Distilled water – There’s no bacteria in it.

This easy eyeliner method teaches you how to put on eyeliner that always looks great: Take your eyeliner brush and swish the tip back and forth into a little of the brown eyeshadow. Tap on a paper towel. (don't blow shadow off the brush.)Rest your elbow on something to steady your hand.With your other hand place your finger at the outer edge of your eye between your upper eyelid and eyebrow. Apply slight upward pressure.Place your brush next to your lashes. Begin making small dashes from the outer eye area towards the center.Repeat to run dashes together. Line lower lashes the same way.

Dont forget to change your make up!

As the seasons change don't forget to change your foundation.  Even if you've found the perfect color for your skin tone, the foundation you bought this August will not work for you in February. Also, watch out for foundation that oxidizes and changes color throughout the day. 

Sheer formulas work better if your face is paler than your chest.

Having at least two different colors of foundation is great, but three is better. This way you always have colors to mix to ensure you get the right color for your skin year-round.

Tinted moisturizers work wonders for those that don't need much coverage.

Puffy Eye Remedy!

Splashing cold water is a cooling method. It causes the blood vessels to constrict which reduces the appearance of swelling. If you don't like splashing water on your face, You can also use the spoon method. Put four spoons in ice water. When cooled, place two over your closed eyes. When the coolness wears off, replace them with the other two.

Another remedy for puffy eyes is to use cooled damp  tea bags. Why? Because tea contains tannins. The tannins causes the blood vessels to constrict.

An alternative to tea bags would be to use potato slices. Potato slices contain enzymes that act as a natural anti-inflammatory.
